JOB TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER

• Design civil engineering aspects of major projects including review and analysis of drawings, technical specifications and other necessary         documents to effectively prepare the costs for materials, labor and equipment.

• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

• Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities and project sites.

• Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction.

• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment or labor to determine project feasibility.

• Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess the potential impact of projects.

• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries.

• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.

• Travel is required once or twice a year to Guam/continental U.S. to attend seminars or visit suppliers.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (may be foreign equivalent).

 

RATE PAY: $24.97 / Hour
